Immuno-Epidemiological Model-Based Prediction of Further Covid-19 Epidemic Outbreaks Due to Immunity Waning

چکیده

We develop a new data-driven immuno-epidemiological model with distributed infectivity, recovery and death rates determined from the epidemiological, clinical experimental data. Immunity in population is taken into account through time-dependent number of vaccinated people different numbers doses acquired immunity for recovered individuals. The validated available show that first time beginning pandemic COVID-19 some countries reached collective immunity. However, epidemic continues because emergence variant BA.2 larger escape or disease transmission rate than previous BA.l variant. Large outbreaks can be expected several months later due to waning. These restrained by an intensive booster vaccination.

Antibodies testing, Immunity and immunity passport in Covid-19

The global outbreak of coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19) has affected most countries in the world. Our knowledge of diagnostic tests for severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) is evolving, and it is important to have a clear understanding of the nature of the tests and the interpretation of their findings. In this paper, the purpose is to interpret the results of two typ...

Waning population immunity prior to a large Q fever epidemic in the south of The Netherlands.

Historical survey data suggest that the seroprevalence of antibodies against Coxiella burnetii in the general population of The Netherlands decreased from more than 40% in 1983 to 2·4% in 2007, just before the start of the large 2007-2010 Q fever epidemic. To assess whether the sharp decline in seroprevalence was real, we performed a cross-sectional study using historical samples. We tested sam...

Fuzzy Sliding Mode Controller Design and Analysis of an SQEIAR Epidemic Model for COVID-19 to Determine the Quarantine Rate

According to the global prevalence of coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, mathematical models can predict and control the dynamic behavior of the pandemic. Therefore, in this study, a comprehensive model is considered to examine the trend of COVID-19 based on Susceptible, Exposed, Infected (Symptomatic and Asymptomatic), and Recovered individuals. In the absence of a curative treatment or vaccinat...

An Immuno-Epidemiological Model of Paratuberculosis

The primary objective of this article is to introduce an immuno-epidemiological model of paratuberculosis (Johne’s disease). To develop the immuno-epidemiological model, we first develop an immunological model and an epidemiological model. Then, we link the two models through time-since-infection structure and parameters of the epidemiological model. We use the nested approach to compose the im...
